|
Daisies CardDescriptionA hammered white double fold greetings card is embroidered with daisies using red, gold and green metallic thread. A gold Happy Birthday sticker completes the design. This pattern can also be stitched on parchment with the petal and leaf shapes embossed. Materials used
MethodThe full instructions and pattern are available to download in a PDF file. To save the file, right click on the link and select "save target/link as". Download instructions in
a PDF file A PDF file can be viewed and printed with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Stitch the card using the method illustrated and described in our Form-A-Lines stitching demo. This uses the dragonfly from the Form-A-Lines Riverside kit but the method is the same. These pattern details should be used in conjunction with the Stitching Demo. Add a gold greetings sticker of your choice. This pattern can also be stitched on parchment with the petal and leaf shapes embossed. If translucent parchment is used then tape used to secure the thread on the back of the parchment may show. To avoid this happening leave a length of thread hanging to start with. Secure this by stitching it into the work at the back of the parchment as the stitching progresses. Daisies card made by Linda Jefferson and reproduced with kind permission.
