Seahorse birthday card

Seahorse birthday card

Description

An aperture card with seahorse stickers mounted on acetate film. Colour added with pens. The film is backed with decorative paper. Gold "Happy Birthday" greetings sticker.

Materials used

  • White double fold greetings card 104mm x 152mm with aperture
  • Acetate film
  • Sticker No. 21 Seahorse
  • Sticker No. 13 Happy Birthday
  • Pale blue mulberry paper
  • Blue & green Identi-pen permanent markers

Method

Cut a piece of acetate film just larger than the card aperture and fix the seahorse stickers to the side of the acetate that is going to be on the outside.

Colour in the seahorses on the reverse side with permanent marker pens.

Cut a piece of mulberry paper the same size as the acetate and mount both into the aperture with double-sided tape.

With the wrong side of the card facing up close the left-hand side of the card in and fix down with double-sided tape or glue.

Fix a Happy Birthday sticker to the card and use pieces such as the centre of the a's and p's etc as bubbles.
